The Nicolais School of Business at Wagner College is searching for an Assistant Professor of Management to join our team in Fall 2024. We are seeking individuals with interest in teaching and researching a variety of topics including organizational behavior, entrepreneurship, strategy, and sustainability. Qualifications. The candidate must possess a Ph.D. (or ABD near completion) in management from an accredited (AACSB), not-for-profit College or university prior to the start of appointment. Prior teaching experience is a plus, but not required. The candidate must possess a robust interest in excellent teaching, demonstrate an interest in and potential for successful research, and a strong commitment to College and school-wide service activities such as serving on committees and advising undergraduate and graduate students.
Responsibilities. The standard teaching load at the Nicolais School of Business is three sections per semester (six per academic year) with, typically, 2-3 preps per semester. There are opportunities to teach inter-disciplinary courses and honors courses. Student advising at the undergraduate and graduate level. Participation in College-wide and school-specific committees. There is an expectation to publish research in peer-reviewed journals and to present research at academic and industry conferences.
