Art of Stakeholder & Advisory Board Management

Join us for a highly engaging and informative program designed exclusively for business academics seeking to enhance their skills in navigating the complexities of boardroom dynamics and stakeholder relationships. This workshop comprehensively explores proven strategies and techniques that enable participants to build high-performing boards and effectively leverage their influence.Joining us are guest contributors in boardroom governance and stakeholder management that will lead group discussions to facilitate a dynamic and immersive learning experience.

This workshop provides a unique platform for business academics to gain practical insights, tools, and approaches to effectively manage boards and maximize their impact on key stakeholders.

Week 1 (Tues, Sept 5, 11:00am-12:00pm) – The Art of Curating Wisdom: Building Your Advisory Board:

In this session, we’ll learn from renowned guest contributor, Sarah Hardcastle, as she shares her expertise in curating a powerhouse advisory board. Discover the art of selecting the right individuals who bring valuable insights and diverse perspectives to the table.

Gain invaluable tips on how to attract and engage top-notch advisors who will propel your organization forward (and how to diplomatically remove the not-so-great ones)

Week 2 (Tues, Sept 12, 11:00am-12:00pm) – Harnessing Board Power: Unlocking the Potential of Your Advisors

Unleash the true potential of your board in this session dedicated to harnessing their power. Learn effective strategies for engaging and leveraging the expertise of your advisors.  Discover how to foster a collaborative environment that empowers your board members to excel and make a lasting impact.

Week 3 (Tues, Sept 19, 11:00am-12:00pm) – Supercharging Your Reach with Your Own Personal Board

In this final session, we’ll dive into the concept of creating your personal board. Explore how assembling a group of trusted mentors, coaches, and supporters can supercharge your professional development and expand your influence. Learn how to nurture and leverage these relationships to enhance your leadership skills, navigate challenges, and reach new heights in your career.

Participants will have the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded academics, share experiences, and gain valuable insights from real-world examples.

The course will include weekly live Zoom sessions, recorded video lessons, worksheets, and weekly assignments to meet and learn from your peers.
